Governo prorroga prazo para renovação de contratos do Fies. São Paulo - Estudantes beneficiados pelo Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies) terão mais prazo para renovar os contratos. O processo, que seria encerrado nesta segunda-feira, 31, foi prorrogado para o dia 15 de novembro. Segundo o Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE), 980 mil estudantes renovaram o financiamento até a manhã desta segunda - de um total de 1,5 milhão de alunos que devem atualizar os contratos. A renovação é feita todo semestre, mas os aditamentos ficaram congelados por causa da falta de recursos para o Fies. Com a aprovação de crédito suplementar para o programa pelo Congresso em sessão no dia 18 deste mês, o sistema foi liberado para renovações.
