Obama offers condolences to attack victims in meeting with Prince Harry

Former US President Barack Obama has offered condolences to victims of the Manchester attack last week during a visit to Prince Harry on Saturday.

Kensington Palace recently tweeted a picture of Harry and Obama, saying the former president offered condolences and support to those recovering from injuries. "The two also discussed veteran support, mental health, youth empowerment and the work of Their respective foundations.

Obama visited Scotland on Friday, played golf at the famous Old Course course in St. Andrews and attended a charity dinner in Edinburgh.

Douglas Corrêa - Repórter da Agência Brasil A Polícia Federal cumpriu hoje (28) dez mandados de busca e apreensão e nove mandados de condução coercitiva no distrito de Santa Maria, em Campos dos Goytacazes, norte fluminense, contra integrantes de uma quadrilha especializada em fraudes a benefícios assistenciais ao idoso, da Lei Orgânica da Assistência Social (Loas), da Previdência Social. As investigações indicaram que a associação criminosa, formada por três irmãos, utilizava documentos falsos em nome de pessoas fictícias para obter, de forma irregular, centenas de benefícios de prestação continuada. O grupo causou prejuízo estimado em cerca de R$ 13 milhões à Previdência Social. Parte do dinheiro obtido com as fraudes foi localizado em contas de “laranjas”, resultando no bloqueio judicial de R$ 6,6 milhões.
